Patrick Segler

Patrick has been at Keen Bank for over four years and provides more than 31 years of industry expertise in commercial, mortgage and retail banking. As the VP of Commercial Lending, Patrick manages large credit relationships and assists in the credit process. He also manages and explains the process of acquiring properties or business to his customers. Patrick’s experience over the years includes managing lending teams, underwriting teams and banks. He has a strong SBA background and an extensive credit background. He considers himself a lender who works with his customers to find the best alternatives. He sees their success and his and wants to structure a financing package that maximizes their ability to thrive. He pursued a career in banking because he has always been motivated to help families and businesses reach their goals.

Patrick is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and University of Wisconsin, Madison Graduate School of Banking. He is currently a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota, serves on their executive committee and is an avid “Big”. He also serves as a Deca judge. He is past president for Owatonna Rotary, past board member for the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, past president for Owatonna Lions, past trustee for the Elks Lodge, past board member for Young Life as well as a volunteer coach and a part of the Stewardship Committee for Trinity Lutheran.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being outdoors golfing, gardening, hunting, fishing and cross-country skiing. He also enjoys curling in the winter and is an avid Minnesota Gophers football fan.
